Alberta’s COVID-19 Report Exposes Cracks in Public Health Decision-Making and Chiropractic Complicity in Vaccine Push

A newly released report from Alberta's COVID-19 Pandemic Data Review Task Force has revealed critical flaws in the province's response to the pandemic, particularly regarding vaccine mandates and reliance on non-pharmaceutical interventions. The report underscores the absence of evidence-based decision-making and raises questions about the societal and ethical implications of these measures. Adding to the controversy, chiropractors and their regulatory bodies—despite their foundational philosophy emphasizing natural immunity and nervous system health—played an unsettling role in endorsing pandemic policies and experimental vaccines.

Key Findings of Alberta's COVID-19 Response Report

The task force’s analysis highlights numerous failings in Alberta’s pandemic response:

  1. Lack of Evidence-Based Policies: Lockdowns, mask mandates, and vaccine campaigns were based on the precautionary principle rather than robust scientific evidence.

  2. Overlooked Infection-Acquired Immunity: The report criticizes authorities for failing to acknowledge the role of natural immunity and downplaying its importance.

  3. Transparency Deficits: Key decisions were made behind closed doors, with cabinet committees overruling medical professionals.

  4. Rushed Vaccine Rollout: Alberta’s reliance on hastily developed international recommendations neglected to critically evaluate long-term vaccine safety data.

These findings have amplified calls for accountability and a reevaluation of public health strategies, particularly regarding experimental mRNA vaccines.

Chiropractic Leadership and Philosophy Betrayed

The pandemic also exposed a significant rift within the chiropractic profession. Historically, chiropractors have emphasized the body’s innate ability to heal and the critical role of spinal health in regulating the nervous system and immunity. However, during the pandemic, many chiropractors, regulatory bodies, and trade associations abandoned these principles.

Canadian Chiropractors Administering Experimental Injections

In one of the more striking developments, chiropractors in Canada, including members of the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA), actively participated in administering COVID-19 vaccines. Chiropractors like Dr. Joannie Dupont and Dr. Marie-Josée Bernier boasted about vaccinating thousands of Canadians. This move was celebrated by the CCA, which declared its pride in members stepping into what they perceived as a central role in public healthcare.

In an article published by the Canadian Chiropractic Association titled: "The door of hope – Chiropractors step up to accelerate COVID-19 vaccinations" Joannie Dupont DC, a Canadian chiropractor stated:

“Vaccination is kind of the door of hope for those people,” she says. “They couldn’t be there for the ones they lost, but they can protect what’s left and protect other people’s loved ones. Helping with vaccinations is a way to fuel the impatience in my belly of moving on. It was an action I could actually have control over. As soon as they asked chiropractors to help, I knew it was my cue.”

While some saw this as an opportunity to gain mainstream recognition, it represented a departure from chiropractic’s core philosophy. Critics argue this alignment with experimental vaccine programs contradicted the profession's values and reinforced skepticism about its ability to maintain a distinct identity grounded in wellness and innate immunity. God only knows how many of those injected by these chiropractors may have been injured or died.

“I wanted to be a part of the solution in the fight against COVID,” stated chiropractor Marie-Josée Bernier.

“I am extremely proud to be contributing to these efforts and grateful for the opportunity to do so. Everyone is so appreciative of the work that we do, which makes it that much more fulfilling. I have had some interesting encounters and met a few fainters along the way, but rest assured we are always there to quite literally catch them when they fall!”

Regulatory Boards Silencing Chiropractic Voices

Chiropractic regulatory boards and trade associations worldwide compounded this betrayal by suppressing dissenting voices within the profession. Hundreds of chiropractors faced disciplinary actions for educating patients about the role of spinal health in supporting immune function. Organizations such as the American Chiropractic Association, Parker University, and the World Federation of Chiropractic joined mainstream narratives, dismissing evidence that chiropractic care positively influences immunity.

This collective muzzling by chiropractic leadership marked a stark divergence from chiropractic’s origins, where practitioners stood firmly for holistic health solutions even against opposition.

Vindication for Skeptics

Alberta’s report offers vindication for those within and outside the chiropractic profession who resisted vaccine mandates and questioned the validity of the experimental COVID-19 vaccines. The findings affirm that the public health measures were not always grounded in robust data and disproportionately ignored potential harms, including vaccine-related adverse events.

A Call for Reform

The fallout from the pandemic has underscored the urgent need for a return to evidence-informed, philosophically aligned practices within the chiropractic profession. Critics contend that the capitulation to mainstream medical narratives during the pandemic reflects deeper structural issues, including the influence of what some term the “Chiropractic Cartel,” which prioritizes musculoskeletal care over the broader wellness focus of chiropractic’s origins.

Looking Forward

As Alberta prepares for future health crises, the lessons from this report and the chiropractic profession’s actions during the pandemic must guide reforms. Public health policies need greater transparency, critical evaluation, and acknowledgment of alternative perspectives. Similarly, chiropractic leaders must recommit to the founding tenets of the profession, embracing their unique role in promoting natural health and wellness.

The intersection of public health and chiropractic philosophy during the COVID-19 pandemic serves as a cautionary tale—reminding both policymakers and professionals of the importance of staying true to their principles, even in times of crisis.
