"No Credible Evidence": The Chiropractic Leadership's Weasel Words Heard 'Round the World

This article by Chris Masterjohn Ph.D reminded me how the leadership of the chiropractic profession led by the pied pipers of the World Federation of Chiropractic, the American Chiropractic Association and Parker University muzzled and attacked chiropractors around the world for even suggesting that chiropractic could play a role in immune system function.
“No credible evidence” falsely claimed Katherine Polhman DC, Ph.D Director of Research at Parker as she told viewers in her now infamous interview with Parkers’ President Bill Morgan. Morgan for his part told the profession they would be “Under the hand of the law” should they make such claims. Thousands of chiropractors from around the world were chastised, ridiculed and brought up on charges before regulatory boards and agencies for making such basic factual statements about the role of the nervous system in immune regulation.
It’s a few years later and thanks to the work of dedicated researchers like those from the Foundation for Vertebral Subluxation, these people and organizations have been exposed for lying to the profession and the public. Sadly they all still occupy their positions within the profession and have made no apologies for what they did nor has the profession collectively held them accountable.
